Webinar Series: The World Has Changed
Webinar Topic: Future of Journalism in a world of misinformation
About The Webinar:
We live in a world where misinformation and fake news has been weaponized to form dangerous and divisive narratives, creating an adverse impact in society. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have again witnessed a huge increase in misinformation and the resultant pressure on the government, social media and technology companies to create awareness and find the right solution.
In this webinar, we will be joined by the founders of Alt News and Confluence Media, two organisations that are working towards creating democratised news platforms while functioning in the current environment.
