Founder of Slam Out Loud
Jigyasa Labroo is the founder of Slam Out Loud which uses performance and visual arts to enable children from disadvantaged communities to find their voice through creative expression. They work with professional artists and e-learning resources to help children build the creative confidence needed for them to dream bigger and create their future. Partnering with the Government and communities, it has worked with more than 50,000 children and 150 artists so far in India.
A Teach for India alumnus, Jigyasa Labroo is passionate about people development, Jigyasa has worked on Curriculum Design for Leadership with University Grants Commission and has facilitated Organizational Development as a consultant.
She is an entrepreneur incubated by Government of Delhi, UnLtd and N/Core and a recipient of the Gold International Award for Young People. She is an UNLEASH+ winner, and an Arts for Good fellow at Singapore International Foundation.
