Webinar Series: Future of Healthcare
Webinar Topic: The Shifting Dynamics of Healthcare Across the World
About the webinar:
The future of healthcare will challenge the current status quo of medical accessibility and distribution around the world, especially impacting developing countries. The pandemic has forced us to build alliances and response systems which never happened before. This year has been an eye opener to perceive how frail the system can be when unprecedented challenges occur. The real question is: is there any way to identify the loopholes and bring about a foreseeable change?
Dr. Soumya Swaminathan dives deep into topics like the future of the pandemic, vaccine development, India’s role in vaccine development, how the virus is mutating and the need of the hour for countries participating in such studies. The session also gives insights on how technology will play a big part in predicting the trajectory of the pandemic and how learnings via the use of technology will play an important role in a country like India.
