TEDxGateway Webinar: Dr. Catherine Mohr (Roboticist) and Dr. Shinjini Kundu (Resident Physician and Medical Researcher) in conversation with Menaka Doshi (Managing Editor, Bloomberg Quint)
Webinar Series: Breaking Barriers
Webinar Topic: Robotics and Healthcare – The Future of Artificial Intelligence
About the webinar:
The thought-provoking world of artificial intelligence has titillated many minds and has inspired a plethora of Science Fiction readers to enter this utopia of endless possibilities. What if you can enter this dimension without having to summon any inter-galactic approach? Watch our exemplary speakers, Dr. Catherine Mohr and Dr. Shinjini Kundu, as they bring the world of AI and Robotics to your computer screens.
Both the speakers draw a parallel in their respective fields of research. Dr. Mohr’s research is inclined towards facilitating robotic surgeries to ensure precision treatments, and train surgeons; while Dr. Kundu has focused on developing an imaging system (a 3D transport-based morphometry) that helps detect diseases that are impalpable to humans.
